Take a trip down memory lane at Ballycastle High

Past pupils of Ballycastle High are invited to an exhibition featuring a wide a range of photographs charting the school’s one hundred year history.

The event will take place in the McMaster Hall from 10.00am to 1.00pm on Thursday 2nd June, alongside the A level and GCSE Art and Design Exhibition.

The photographs on display will cover all areas of school life from when the High School was first established on the Quay Road up to the present day. They were first put on display during the interval of the school’s very successful Centenary Concert in April. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to revisit old memories whilst catching up with old friends.

Several people who were unable to attend the concert, as well as some who wished to spend longer examining the pictures, have requested that they be put on display again. The school is more than happy to oblige and felt that the annual A level and GCSE Art and Design Exhibition was the ideal time to do so. As a result visitors on Thursday 2nd June will also be able to view the outstanding artwork produced by this year’s students.
