Taking a new look at Klimt at Flowerfield Arts Centre

DEBORAH LOGAN’s popular series of illustrated art history talks continues on Thursday, November 22 at 2.30pm, with a look at the life and work of the artist Gustav Klimt.

“This year is Gustav Klimt’s 150th birthday,” explains the art historian.

“He liked a good party – so let’s celebrate the life and enduring work of one of the key figures in 20th century art.”

Deborah is renowned for her deft approach to the subject – her public lectures are rigorously researched but laced with humour and are very popular with both serious students of art as well as those with a more relaxed approach.

The lecture series rounds off with a look at Charles Dickens and his relationship with art – on December 6
