Tesco NI launches search for community heroes

Members of the public encouraged to nominate ‘unsung heroes’ as new grassroots awards’ scheme gets underway.

Tesco has launched a search for Local Northern Ireland Community Heroes as part of a province-wide initiative launched today – and it wants applications from Ballymena and the surrounding area.

The leading retailer which has more than 50 stores throughout Northern Ireland will select a monthly winner for the new awards which are aimed at recognising and rewarding people who have shown true hero qualities - either in the way they might have coped with adversity or the manner in which they have helped others.
