The name is Bond, James Bond, with licence to thrill

Bond. James Bond. Hear those words and you know you are in for a treat. Dapper and debonair, Bond is back… older and wisecracking…at the Island Arts Centre on Thursday November 7 at 8pm.

Licenced to thrill, actor Gavin Robertson takes on the tux and focuses his attention on the Bond phenomenon, spoofing the movies eagerly awaited by millions, and exploding every cliche in the book… solo!

In the fast-paced action comedy 007 faces his greatest arch-villain yet, his creator Ian Fleming himself. Using original music and minimum props to a maximum effect this is definitely an evening to leave you shaking with laughter and stirred. Gavin’s brand of physical comedy has toured the world with past productions such as Fantastical Voyage, Spittoon and A Space Oddity touring in the UK, Brazil, Japan, Taiwan, the Middle East, Europe, and, in 2013 in India, Russia, Australia and the USA.
