The wee man from Strabane is back

THE wee man from Strabane is on the road again with his Country 1st show.

Appearing at The Island Hall, Lisburn on Friday December 28, Hugo Duncan will be joined by friends, Kenny Archer, Ann Breen, Trionagh Allen and young Country Sensation Derek Ryan, all backed by the Ryan Turner Band from Donegal. A fun filled country show that is fuelled by ‘Uncle’ Hugo’s boundless energy and fun.

The BBC Radio Ulster presenter, well known for his teasers and craic, is delighted to be returning with his Country 1st Show at the Island Hall in Lisburn and promises to give the audience a night of action packed entertainment. Yodelling Kenny Archer will be joining Hugo at the Island Hall. Kenny, a character who, with his charm, will spin a yarn about his ‘blondes’, then will yodel the night away and capture audiences young and not so young.

Ann Breen with her wealth of experience in the Country Music industry will add a touch of sparkle to the night, singing many of her well known hits such as ‘Pal of My Cradle Days’ and ‘Sweet Sixteen’. Trionagh Allen, has toured with many of the big names in Country Music, and joins us directly from Daniel O’Donnell’s American Tour. She has a wonderfully distinctive voice brilliantly showcased on her hit track ‘Walking on The Moon’.

Derek Ryan, the young Country Sensation will also be appearing along with Hugo and friends. Having just released his new Album ‘Dreamers and Believers’ this young, talented Singer/Songwriter will have your toes tapping and your hips swinging in this sensational night of country music at its best.
