Theatre teams up with radio station for autumn production

THEATRE at The Mill has joined forces with U105 for their production of Neil Simon’s comedy classic, The Odd Couple.

The storyline of the hit play revolves around two friends, both recently divorced, who decide to move in together. Oscar the easygoing slob and Felix the neurotic neat-freak are a desperately miss-matched pair and skip the honeymoon stage and go straight into, bickering, fighting and getting on each other’s nerves. Within their spouse-like irritation of each other is where the audience will find timeless and hilarious entertainment.

Susan McCleary, Sales & Marketing Manager at Theatre at the Mill commented: “We are delighted to share a media partnership with U105 for our autumn comedy, The Odd Couple.

“Our own Odd Couple, actors Guy Masterson and Marty Maguire, were a bad influence on U105 presenter Johnny Hero during their recent visit, disrupting his studio and creating fun and havoc. Later this month, U105 Breakfast listeners can win tickets to the laugh out loud comedy with our exclusive Odd Couple competition.”

U105 Station Manager, Peter McVerry said: “U105 is delighted to be involved in this fantastic partnership. From the sneak previews we have had, we are looking forward to seeing the show ourselves and know our listeners and their friends and families are guaranteed a night to remember.”

The Odd Couple runs at Theatre at The Mill from Wednesday 17 - Saturday 27 October. Tickets priced from £14 are available from the box office on 9034 0202 or online at www.theatreatthemill.com
