Tractor show

The season for the vintage tractor shows is soon coming to an end for another year.

Hundreds of tractor enthusiasts took to the roads over the summer, despite the poor weather conditions, to show off their pride and joy - their vintage tractor.

The committee of Roseyards Presbyterian Church has organised an evening which will be of great interest to these tractor men and we won’t need to worry about the weather - it will be indoors. The venue is Roseyards Church Hall.

The night starts with a demonstration of the dismantling and rebuilding of a T20 tractor in less than 10 minutes.

The men and women award winning teams from the Inishowen T20 Tractor Build Team will come together and see who can who can complete this unique and skillful task in the quickest time.

Following this demonstration we can sit back and enjoy a talk by Billy Forsythe about the history of the Harry Ferguson Tractor and the heritage centre.

All this takes place in the church hall on Friday 31st August at 8pm.

Admission is £5 and everyone will be most welcome.
