“Tennents Vital is one of Northern Ireland’s flagship music events and using public transport is the smart move for a convenient, reliable and comfortable journey to and from the festival site.

“Balmoral Train Station is situated close to Boucher Playing Fields and we will enhance services throughout the day to bring people to the site. Coming home, special late night special rail services will run from Balmoral in both directions to Belfast with onward connections to Ballymena and Ballymoney*. These trains will operate following the concert from 10.45pm until 11.45pm subject to demand. Special return train tickets to Ballymena and Ballymoney are available to buy online and in selected stations priced £16 return.

On both days, a Tennent’s Vital busker will welcome early concert goers arriving at Balmoral station with tunes from artists who’ve previously played the gig.

“We hope everyone enjoys a great night out but would remind passengers that alcohol consumption and smoking are strictly not permitted on trains, coaches and buses. Anyone who appears to be intoxicated may be refused travel,” said Ciarán.
