Transport plans for Tennent’s Vital 2014

Translink is providing train services for music fans travelling to see performances by The Killers on Thursday, August 21, and David Guetta on Sunday, August 24, at Boucher Playing Fields in South Belfast.

With tens of thousands of music fans expected at the Tennent’s Vital festival, Translink and festival organisers MCD are encouraging people to use train travel to South Belfast including special late night return services to bring people safely home.

Translink’s Ciarán Rogan said: “Balmoral Train Station is situated close to Boucher Playing Fields and we will operate late night special rail services from Balmoral to Mossley West and Antrim following the concert from 10.45pm until 12 midnight subject to demand.

“Special return train tickets are £10 and available to buy online and in selected stations.”
