Holidays to Madeira from Belfast

Atlantic Holidays has introduced flights from Belfast International Airport to Madeira for summer 2011 by offering 5 direct flights on Monday May 30, 6th June, 5th, 12th & 19th September 2011.

Madeira is an exceptionally popular destination, the archipelago of Madeira is of volcanic origin but unlike the other islands in the group which are barren, Madeira is lush and verdant, boasting an exceptionally temperate climate and rich agricultural resources.

"It has wonderful parks and gardens with exotic flowers, seascapes with blue oceans and towering cliffs, rustic villages in quiet valleys and seriously good views with sheer mountains.

Dino Toouli Sales & Marketing Manager at Atlantic Holidays said "We are delighted to add Belfast Airport to our portfolio and we are confident that Madeira will prove extremely popular to those living in the catchment area. We will exclusively be positioning a Monarch Airlines A320 aircraft to operate this flight solely for Atlantic Holidays."

Uel Hoey, Business Development Director, Belfast International Airport said: "It will be great to see Madeira back on the departure boards at the airport as Madeira has always been a popular destination with local holidaymakers; albeit they have been forced lately to use less convenient routes to fly there.

"With a flight just four hours away and with excellent flights times, we are confident that the new service will be a success with all types of travellers.

"We are delighted that Atlantic Holidays have added Belfast to their list of departure airports and look forward to working closely with Atlantic Holidays and Monarch Airlines to expand the service."
