New Flybe Service to Humberside From George Best Belfast City

NORTHERN Ireland's fist scheduled air service to Humberside will take off from George Best Belfast City Airport in May.

The route will be operated by the airport's biggest operator Flybe with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The flights will make the North Lincolnshire area easily accessible to Northern Ireland travellers as Humberside Airport is just a short distance from Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

Flybe will use one of its 78 seat Dash 8 Q400 series aircraft on the route which will bring the total number of destinations it serves from Belfast to 15.

Flybe 'Delighted' To Introduce 'Yet Another New Service'

The airline's Chief Commercial Officer Mike Rutter said: "We're delighted to be adding yet another new service from Belfast thereby increasing the already extensive choice of affordable routes we operate for our Northern Ireland travellers which, during Summer 2010, will now number up to 490 flights a week.

"Flybe prides itself on ensuring that travellers have the widest possible choice of affordable, quality flights to attractive business and leisure destinations.

"With people already planning next year's holidays and wanting their budgets to go as far as possible, it's advisable to book early to take advantage of the lowest possible fares."
