Variety is the spice of life for Larne’s U3A members

THERE certainly is no reason for retired people from Larne to be lonely or bored, as members of the East Antrim U3A (University of the Third Age) can testify.

At the group’s last meeting, held in Joymount Church hall, Carrickfergus, chairman David Nesbitt welcomed both new and existing members and invited group leaders to update everyone of current and planned group activities.

Starting off with the computer group, Patricia gave details of the next meeting on June 2 at the usual venue. All members of the group are extremely keen to learn starting with basic skills, progressing to individual needs of each member with everyone enjoying the friendly atmosphere within the group.
