The Care Centre, owned and managed by husband and wife team Jervis and Jennifer Nutt, first opened in 1999 and the latest expansion will see it increase to 127 beds dedicated to the care of the frail, elderly and Alzheimer’s/Dementia sufferers.

Former farmer Jervis embraced the caring industry and established Cornfield Care centre in 26 acres of landscaped grounds on the edge of Limavady. The purpose-built facility specialises in care for elderly patients suffering from physical disability and also offers the latest facilities for residents with dementia as well as day care for local elderly patients.

Speaking about the latest development, Jervis Nutt, Managing Director, Cornfield Care Centre said: “Our team has always kept ‘quality care in a quality setting’ at the heart of what we do and with the help of First Trust Bank I am delighted to be able to extend the care centre to meet the growing demand for such high quality and personalised care. We now look forward to opening our doors and welcoming new residents to the Centre in the coming weeks.”
