11 evictions for anti-social behaviour

The equivalent figure in neighbouring Limavady was seven whilst in Strabane there were no evictions.

In 2004/5 four people were evicted from Housing Executive property here. This dropped to one in 2005/6 whilst there were no evictions in 2006/7.

In each of the last two years three tenants who caused trouble through their anti-social behaviour were evicted.

Over the past three years just two eviction notices were served on housing executive tenants in the North West. In 2008/9 two were served from the Waterside office. The figures were released by Housing Minister Margaret Ritchie in response to a query tabled at the Stormont Assembly.
