11 hijackingincidents incity on recordover the pasttwo years
There were at least 11 attempted or substantial vehicle hijackings in Londonderry between the beginning of UK City of Culture 2013 and May 2014, it’s emerged.
There were eight incidents in the city last year, five attempted and three susbstantive - all involving personal vehicles.
And in the first four months of this year there were three incidents.
Two of these were substantive and one attempted.
