11-year-old boy chased and attacked by gang
WITNESSES are being sought by police to an alleged assault on a boy which took place in the Queen Street area of the town at around 9pm on Monday, May 23.
According to police, an 11 year old boy was chased by a group of youths and was then kicked and punched to the ground by two of the youths. He suffered cuts and bruising.
One is described as being approx 16 years old and wearing a purple and white jacket and the other as being approx 13 years old and wearing a navy coloured jacket with red writing on it.Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them in Ballymena on 0845 600 8000.
