11th Belfast toPortrush Cavalcade

THE 11th Belfast-Portrush Cavalcade organised by East Antrim Old Vehicle Club (EAOVC) will take place on Sunday, August 5.

The popular annual fundraising event was due to be officially launched at the council’s civic headquarters at Mossley Mill last week by the Mayor of Newtownabbey, Alderman Billy Webb.

“Thanks to permission granted by Newtownabbey Borough Council we will be assembling at Mossley Mill where all entrants will have their breakfast before the start,” Mr Raj told the Times.

“The Cavalcade will leave Mossley Mill between 10.30am and 11am and pass through Templepatrick and Antrim before proceeding direct to Portrush for a static display between 1pm and 4pm at Coleraine Borough Council’s Dunluce Centre in Portrush. The Cavalcade will finish off at the Royal Court Hotel, Portrush for a meal and the Finishers Awards.”

The charity chosen by EAOV to benefit from the Cavalcade this year is premature and vulnerable baby charity, Tiny Life.
