14-day indoor licences

FOUR local establishments have been granted a 14-day renewal indoor entertainment's licence.

First Ballymoney Presbyterian, Mrs. Andrea Sara Carton, John Armstrong Hall,applicant Mr. D. R. Balmer, Dalriada School, Allen and Adair Memorial Hall, applicant Mr. Thomas Johnston, Dervock and The Robinson Hall, applicant Mr Maurice F. R. Christie, Dunloy,

The Health and Environmental Committee report stated: “It is recommended that the Borough Council renew the Indoor Entertainment’s Licences as detailed above. In the cases of the Allen & Adair Memorial Hall and The Robinson Hall subject to a satisfactory electrical test certificate being received. In addition to the Borough Council’s “Conditions of Licence” adopted on 7th October 1985 the additional conditions detailed on the premise files also apply.”

Cllr Evelyne Robinson was pleased to note that access problems at the Memorial Hall in Dervock have been overcome and that disabled access is now available.

It was proposed by Alderman Frank Campbell and seconded by Alderman Harry Connolly.
