15 minutes of non-fame for '˜Pointless' Mark Durkan

Foyle MP Mark Durkan was '˜Pointless,' according to survey respondents of the eponymous BBC quiz show, hosted by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman.

In an episode aired on Thursday, May 12, contestants were asked to put names to the most obscure of fifteen MPs’ pen pictures, which included Mr Durkan, David Cameron, Alex Salmond, Nick Clegg and Boris Johnston.

None of the contestants were able to identify the Londonderry MP and neither had anyone who informed the game show’s survey.

“Pointless answer,” declared Mr Osman, revealing Mr Durkan would have been a winning choice.
