1/5 of DCC workers casual
OVER one in five staff employed by Londonderry’s local authority are employed on a casual contract, it has been revealed.
The Environment Minister Alex Attwood said 114 of roughly 500 Derry City Council staff (22.8 per cent) are casual workers.
He provided the figures in response to an Assembly Question.
