15-year-old Cookstown robbery accused remains in custody
A 15-year-old boy accused of robbing the Hilltop service station in Cookstown may apply for bail in two weeks, a court has heard.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared via video link at East Tyrone Magistrate’s Court from the Woodlands Juvenile Justice Centre on Wednesday.
He stands accused of robbing cash from the Chapel Street shop on the evening of May 19.

Hide AdApplying for a two week adjournment in the case, Mr Colin Donnelly, defending, told the court that he hoped to proffer a suitable bail address for the defendant in that time.
District Judge John Meehan adjourned the case to reappear at Dungannon Courthouse via video link on June 10.
