16 neigbourhood watch schemes in city
SIXTEEN neighbourhood watch schemes are currently up and running in Londonderry, according to the Justice Minister David Ford.
Since 2010 the Department of Justice has contributed £25,000 each year towards the establishiment of schemes throughout Northern Ireland.
The Londonderry Neighbourhood Watch schemes in operation are: Hampstead Park; Fortwilliam; Eglinton Neighbourhood; Maydown; Oakfield; Brickfield Court; North & West Housing (APEX); Fr Mulvey Park; Lowry’s Lane/Glenwood; Glenbrook House; Blackthorn Manor; Beechwood Court; Aberfoyle; Castle Park/Heather Drive; Culmore Park; and Beechleigh Park.
