1/6 of state photographers from city
JUST one out of six state photographers who take pictures of First Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness on official business is based in Londonderry.
The Ministers revealed five of the six photographers are based in Belfast. The Ministers accompany Ministers on ministerial visits.
Previously the Ministers had revealed that a contract was in place to provide photographic services.

Hide Ad“Following a competition administered by the Central Procurement Directorate six photographers were appointed to undertake work on behalf of the NICS.
“Under the terms of this contract the appointed photographers are invited to submit a tender for each assignment before being selected.
“In the event that none of the photographers on the contract are able to undertake an assignment, other photographers may be appointed in line with normal procurement guidance,” they stated.
