1916 theme for group's reunion at Greenisland Library

Greenisland Library hosted a reunion of a class that met 10 years ago to learn about 1916, the Battle Of The Somme and the Easter Rising.

Photographs taken during trips to The Somme Heritage Centre and Dublin and the ‘Mind Map’ that the group made were on display.

Organised as part of a week of events to remember 1916, there was also a talk by Wesley Bonar on Tom McKinney from Sentry Hill who died at the Battle of the Somme.
