The Commitments star says three-year-old Athan will love the eclectic mix of attractions at Glenarm Castle and not least the chance to meet his favourite Paw Patrol characters.

“He’s obsessed with Paw Patrol, .so he’s going to thoroughly enjoy seeing them at the festival and of course it will be priceless to see his wee face meet his heroes. It’ll be like me meeting the Rolling Stones for the first time - before I toured with them.”

Andrew, who will headline on the main stage on Saturday, July 16, went to school in Larne and said he wants to give something back to the community. “I’ve really fond memories of living in Larne and when I attended the Dalriada launch last month and stayed with family for a few days,” he revealed.

“Whilst visiting Glenarm I was really sad to hear that there has recently been so many job losses in the local area, so I think it’s only just and right that I give something back to the community and help locals who may be feeling the pinch at this time. It’s encouraging to see other local movie stars like Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt publicly expressing their support towards creating new jobs in the area. I’m more than happy to offer a good discount on tickets for locals to my concert on 16th July, to also coincide with The Commitments’ 25th anniversary.”
