22 Trust staff sacked as a result of conduct

At least twenty-two health service staff employed by the Western Trust, including nurses, social workers and care assistants, were dismissed due to unacceptable conduct over the past three years, figures released by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) have revealed.

The 22 were among thirty staff who were dismissed by the local health authority over the three years, 2013 to 2015.

Eight other staff were dismissed on the basis of their “attendance” or “health,” according to the Department.
