25 dogs put down
TWENTY-FIVE dogs were put down in Londonderry during December.
There were three reports of attacks on people and one report of an attack on livestock during the month.
Thirty stray dogs were reported, twelve instances of dog fouling encountered and fifteen fixed penalty notices served.
The figures are contained in Derry City Council’s latest Environmental Health report.
