3 people arrested for alleged drugs offences

Three people were arrested for alleged drugs offences at the Snoop Dogg concert at Ebrington on Thursday (October 23).

Sergeant Cathal Pearce, of the City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team, said officers using a ‘passive detection dog’ were on duty.

Two youths aged 16 and 17 from Co Armagh were arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug; possessing it with intent to supply; and conspiracy to supply a Class B drug. They were later bailed pending further enquiries.

Separately, a 23-year-old man from Londonderry was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug and is to be reported to the PPS.
