Police in Donegal are looking for three men as part of their investigation into a recent arson attack at Newtowncunningham Orange Hall.

Inspector Pat O’Donnell said three men were captured on video by CCTV cameras in the area.

“We’ve been reviewing CCTV for the past few weeks and as a result have identified three people seen in the area around the crucial time of the fire,” he said.

One of the men was filmed trying to flag down a car.

“He is 5’7” in height, in his mid to late 30s with receding hair and was wearing a blue zip top with green inserts,” said Inspector O’Donnell.

“We are keen to speak to this man or anyone who may have given him a lift towards Killea/Derry,” he added.

A cyclist and local dog walker also appear in the video.

“The second man was a cyclist, in full racing gear, passing down through the village and back up again and the third is a local man who is out walking a black and white dog.

“They may have information that can be of help to us,” he added.
