30million euro towards Kelvin

THE Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETINI) received 30million euro in EU funding towards Project Kelvin over the past three years.

Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster highlighted the success of her Department in accessing the European funding during the period in response to an Assembly Question.

She said DETINI received 29,500,000 euro in Interreg IVA funding in respect of the Project Kelvin translatlantic telecommunication link-up.

In 2008/9 2,950,000 euro was received; this rose to 16,200,000 euro in 2009/10; whilst 10,350,000 euro was received in 2010/11.

Over the same three years 77,255.17, 32,958.52 and 110,213.69 was also received respectively.
