He thanked the committee members for their support over the year.

Secretary, Margaret McKee, gave a comprehensive report on the group’s programme throughout the past year.

On a weekly basis members enjoyed such activities as archery, dancing, bowls, swimming etc. Visits to the Iveagh Theatre and day trips to Londonderry and the Llamas Fair at Ballycastle were some of the events which had taken place throughout the year, and in September a five-day Holiday was arranged, some members going to the Scottish Highlands and some to Salou.

The walking group met on a regular basis with an average attendance of 30, and Robert McLorn, walk leader, arranged walks to such places as Hillsborough Park, Scarva, etc., finishing off the season with an outing to Enniskillen.

Catriona Regan conducted the election. New Office Bearers elected: Chairperson, Yvonne McKinley; Secretary, Margaret McKee and Treasurer, Wilma McCready.
