50-year-old man killed in Tyrone collision

He has been named by police as Kieran McSorley from the Omagh area and was a front seat passenger in one of the cars involved in the RTC.

Three other people were taken to hospital after the crash but details of their injuries are not known.

The road was reopened at around 3am this morning.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would ask that anyone travelling on the Omagh Rd in Ballygawley around the same time last night who may have witnessed this RTC - which involved a white Toyota and a silver Volkswagon - to contact them on 101.
