54 more jobs to go at Pattons

The administrator Tom Keenan, of Keenan CF, confirmed the development on Friday morning.

He said that the staff will be made redundant with immediate effect.

A statement read: “A significant number of customers have terminated contacts resulting in a sharp decline in activity levels. The company’s trading position will continue to be reviewed.”

Earlier this month, 190 jobs were lost at the firm due to difficult trading difficulties conditions.

It is understood that just 76 posts remain out of a workforce total of 320.
