700 pills seized in raid
SEVEN hundred tranquillisers were seized by police in Londonderry after a raid on a property in the Rosemount area of the city last week.
Members of the Foyle City West Neighbourhood Team seized over 700 suspected diazepam tablets following a search of a property in the Edenmore Court area on Monday (21st). One man was arrested. Diazempan is a benzodiazepine and mild tranquilliser, normally used to treat anxiety and panic attacks.
