In the Derry City Council area 38 appeals against refusal were received with 28 (74 per cent) dismissed.

Only in Larne (100 per cent) and in Carrickfergus District Council areas was the percentage of appeals upheld greater.

The information was released by the PAC Chief Commissioner prompted by an Assembly Question.
