748 'disorderly' convictions in Londonderry

OVER 700 people were convicted of disorderly behaviour or related offences in Londonderry between 2004 and 2006 where alcohol was identified in the offence definition.

The amount of drink-related convictions peaked at 290 in 2005 falling back to 234 in 2006. The total number of convictions was 748 over the three years.

Justice Minister David Ford revealed the information in response to an Assembly Question.
