8-year-old girl badly shaken by approach

The man was in his twenties, 5’ 11,” tanned and had discoloured teeth. He was wearing a white tracksuit top, blue jeans and brown shoes.

Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following the report of the suspicious approach in the Sheelin Park area.

It was reported that at approximately 2.50pm, a white van with three men on board approached an 8 year old girl.

One man from the van approached the girl and grabbed her arm but she broke free and ran way.

The girl was not injured but was left badly shaken by the incident.
