83 WHSCT redundancies approved under Review of Public Administration
EIGHTY-THREE management-level redundancies have been made under the Review of Public Administration (RPA) in the Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) to date.
Health Minister Michael McGimpsey, responding to a query at the Northern Ireland Assembly stated: “A total of 512 applications have been approved for RPA related voluntary redundancies and voluntary early retirements on the grounds of redundancy in Health and Social Care Trusts.”
In the Western Trust five redundancies at Director level, eleven redundancies at Deputy or Assistant Director level and sixty-seven redundancies at Below Assistant Director level had been approved at the start of December.
