98% pass rate at Ballycastle High

CONGRATULATIONS and smiles were the order of the day for Ballycastle High School's sixth formers as they opened their results slips.

A 98% pass rate combined with some outstanding individual performances made this one of the best ever sets of results for the school.

It was the highest percentage of pupils gaining three top A Level grades for twelve years and Principal Designate Ian Williamson said he was delighted that hard work had paid off. He wished departing students well as they commenced their university careers and commended staff and parents for their hard work and commitment to the school.
