A day in the life of an RNLI volunteer
THE Larne branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is actively seeking new volunteers.
In a bid to find out exactly what volunteering for this organisation is all about, Larne Times reporter Stephen Gamble becomes an honorary RNLI crew member for the day and heads out to sea on the all-weather lifeboat, Dr John McSparran.
