A great attraction for all ages

RIVERWATCH Aquarium and Visitor Centre is a great tourist attraction located just outside Derry City centre and with FREE admission it's a must do for families and visitors.

Join us as we feed the fish at the Riverwatch in Prehen this summer. Watch the fish go wild for their lunch and learn all about our local wildlife. We have lobster, crabs, starfish, coalfish, blenny’s and lots of other marine and freshwater fish and shellfish. The feeding frenzy is on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 3pm. Get involved with the fun and frolics of feeding time!

We are also continually changing our livestock so it’s always worth another trip! There are free activity packs to keep the kids entertained and all indoors, it’s a great wet weather option too!

Places are FREE but are limited and on first come first served. Contact the Riverwatch team for more details or bookings.

The centre is normally open Monday to Friday but in July and August we will be open on Saturdays from 10am – 4pm. For further details check out our website at www.loughs-agency.org or telephone 02871 342100.
