THe Gilmore family were overwhelmed by the generosity of all those who donated money for a charity quiz at the weekend.

Little Aaron Gilmore’s parents David and Jenny said: “A charity table quiz was held on Saturday night in Rathfriland Club to raise money for Oxford Craniofacial Unit and Ronald McDonald House. We would firstly like to thank everyone who attended the quiz and gave there support. We had a great night and raised £305. Secondly we would like to say a massive thank-you to local businesses that generously donated the prizes for the winning team. They were The Belmont Hotel, The Coach Brasserie, The Bronte Steak House, The Halls Mill, Scruples Hair and Beauty, South Down Action in Rathfriland, The Homeland Diner, The Anglers Rest, The Downshire Arms. That brings our overall total to an amazing £4,960.40 which will be given to The Oxford Craniofacial Unit and Ronald McDonald House, Oxford.”
