A Level students congratulated

He said: “Once again Northern Ireland students are amongst the very best in the United Kingdom.

“I was pleased to meet with the principal of Banbridge Academy on Thursday afternoon to analyse the performance of the Academy and once again they have exceeded expectations.”

He added; “Many young people will now be able to pursue their chosen path, but for others there will be a time of uncertainty.

“I would reassure anyone who has not received the grades they were hoping for that there a range of options open to them. They should contact the CCEA helpline or speak to family, friends and teachers for advice

“Whether exam results lead on to university, further education or work what is important now is how our young people move forward.”
