A love that endures through each troublesome day

When a cheerful friend accompanies you
Along the way that you must keep,
Somehow the sun appears to shine much brighter
And the hills not quite so steep.
‘Tis good to render a little appreciation When someone helps you to win the day,
‘Tis the simple words and thoughtful deeds
That endure along life’s way.
But let’s reflect upon the unconditional love
Jesus gave for us at Calvary,
A love that endures whatever befall
Through each dark and troublesome day.
With the assurance His love is unending,
Let’s trust Him each day as we should,
Content to rely on His wonderful promise
That He designs all things for our good.
