A Passover demonstration

A PREACHER dedicated to spreading biblical Christianity amongst the Jewish people worldwide will give a Passover Demonstration at Newbuildings Independent Methodist Church tomorrow Thursday, April 1.

Stephen Currie, of Messianic Testimony, will use Scripture as well as the visual items of the Passover to walk through a Jewish Passover seder, weaving the story of the Exodus together with the life, death and resurrection of Christ.

Rev Jonathan Campbell explains: "The congregation will actually see a table set with traditional Passover items. The words Christ spoke in the upper room come alive as each item is carefully explained.

"The speaker is a native of Newtownards in the heart of County Down. A young man, in his early 30s, Stephen is married to Marina, who comes all the way from Minsk in Belarus.

"They have one son, David. An honours graduate from the Irish Baptist College, Stephen is passionate about world mission and has had a particularly heavy burden for reaching Jewish people for many years.

"He has been in churches and mission halls, at conferences and prayer groups, seeking to reach a new generation and enthuse them about Jewish mission.

"This special night is the perfect preparation for Good Friday. Everyone is welcome."

The Passover Demonstration will take place at 8pm.
