'˜A Portrush Heritage Trail'
Portrush Heritage Group will hold its next meeting in the Portrush Atlantic Hotel on Wednesday, March 25 at 7.30pm.
The topic up for discussion will be “A Portrush Heritage Trail”.
Guest speakers will be Dr Colin Breen and John Moore.
Dr Colin Breen is a reader in the School of Environmental Sciences at University of Ulster and has worked extensively across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and also serves as an advisor to a number of governments and universities across these regions. Dr Breen will talk about the early influences that mark the formation of a settlement in Portrush.
Local Historian and PHG Vice Chairman John Moore will continue the story on the influences that took place after the building in 1822 of the first “Decent” Lodging House built by Misses Rice.
