To fix your mind upon the higher power
Enables you to keep calm and serene.
Remember the peace that passes all understanding
Is lovingly promised from above
And the song of Solomon clearly proclaims
“His banner over us is love.”
God’s always there to help and befriend you
Aware when His children need rest
A steadfast anchor upon life’s boundless ocean
And He knows what for you is best
Step by step we are kept in His power
New strength given each time we pray
Never feel lost or alone my friend
