He will open his exhibition ‘A Symphony of Sirens’ on Wednesday, August 1, at 5pm in Café Couture, Mill Street.

The theme is centred around an investigation into the excessive consumption within nightlife and animalistic nature of intoxicated human action. The paintings draw attention to the theatrical stage of the streets, hours after the events take place.

Research for this body of work took form in expeditions through the city between midnight and 6am.

Mark said: “Objectively monitoring the grotesque behaviour of those incapable of pronouncing their own names lead to an intimate understanding of the city, the prose that accompanies the paintings encompasses all of the unseen within the paintings.
