Aaron’s grade A visit to Stormont Castle

North Antrim MLA Mervyn Storey has congratulated Rasharkin’s Aaron Henry on his sensational A-Level results.

The 19-year-old can boast an unbelievable set of 5 A-Star grades. Aaron will now embark on his university studies after being accepted to the prestigious colleges of Oxford University to study medicine - one of just two students from Northern Ireland to be enrolling there this autumn.

Last week he was invited to Stormont Castle to meet with Mervyn and DUP leader Peter Robinson.

Mervyn commented: “I was delighted to host Aaron at Stormont. He is a highly intelligent and capable young man with such an exciting future ahead of him. Both Peter Robinson and myself were completely bowled over with his achievements.

“We were also able to wish him happy birthday as he celebrated his 19th birthday on the day of his visit to Stormont. “It is amazing to learn that not only did Aaron achieve A-Star grades in Physics, Biology and Chemistry; but in his own time also studied A-Levels in Maths and Further Maths – attaining two more A-Star grades. These are remarkable accomplishments.

“It is clear that Oxford University have secured a talented and gifted student and I wish him success in the future.”
