Abandoned pony and donkey in Maghera left without water
Mid Ulster Council hope to re-home a pony and donkey found running along the Glenshane Road, Magherafelt Magistrates Court heard.
The animals were rounded-up by police and put into a neighbouring field but no welfare was provided.
A witness for the council told the court during an application for a destruction order, that the donkey was treated for a foot injury and both animals were left without a water supply.
